The ACT Government is seeking feedback on its Draft ACT Biosecurity Strategy which outlines the management of exotic plants and animals, as well as diseases which effect both plants and animals. Horses, their owners and land managers will be impacted by this strategy primarily in relation to management of potential equine epidemics such as equine influenza and Hendra virus.
