ACTEA President’s September 2022 Report

This is where the ACTEA Committee reports on activities its members have undertaken on behalf of Affiliates.

 

 Meetings 

  • Update meeting with Project Manager of the LDK development on Forest Park site
  • Meeting with Capital Estate developments regarding proposed equestrian route around western edge of Denman development 

Representations 

  • Attendance at Sport & Recreation Stakeholders gathering and conversation with new facilities manager about EP licence
  • Exchanges with various Evoenergy representatives about their proposed infrastructure works in the Molonglo Valley from William Hovell drive to the Molonglo River over the next 2 years
  • Communication with SLA seeking update on route of proposed bike path through north-western ponds
  • Conversation with Centenary Trail Ranger regarding suggestion its route into SFP would be moved next to Cotter Road cavaletti
  • Representations to Jo Clay about equestrian access to SFP following her expression of strong support for more bike trails on the mountain
  • Contact from TCCS about proposed new dog park in Lanyon next to the National Trail

Other 

  • Equestrian Community advised of acceptable solution to RFS demand that LDK buy part of Yarralumla Horse Paddocks as a buffer zone
