Stromlo Forest Park has released its Final Master Plan

Stromlo Forest Park has released its Final Master Plan following a consultation period which attracted 7 written submissions and 744 online responses. Written submissions were received from the Canberra Cycling Club, Cycling ACT, Pedal Power ACT, Weston Creek Community Council, the YMCA of Canberra Runners’ Club and the ACT Equestrian Association. Most respondents were existing park users, 67% using the cycling facilities at the Park.…

Final Stromlo Forest Park Master Plan Released

The ACT Government has released the final master plan for Stromlo Forest Park. During the December 2015 to February 2016 consultation period, seven written submissions and 744 online responses were received. ACTEA lodged a detailed submission on the impact of overdevelopment of the Park on traditional equestrian use. Time to Renew Affiliation Fees

The ACTEA Secretary is now distributing invoices for annual fees to current ACTEA affiliates. Delegates of affiliates cannot vote for election of office bearers or motions for action at the Annual General Meeting on 9 June if their club is not financial. Kangaroo Fence on Tuggeranong Parkway

Some of you will have noticed the fencing being erected along the Tuggeranong Parkway. A section from the Zoo to the Molonglo River appeared before Christmas and construction has started on the section from the Molonglo south to Sulwood Drive.
