NCEC hosts Equestrian Australia Official Measuring Day

Measuring is required in some EA Sports to ensure a horse or pony is eligible for particular height categories in competition. Fencing of Tuggeranong Parkway Near the Zoo Underpass

Since the 2003 bushfires ACTEA has regularly sought replacement of the old stock fence that ran along the Tuggeranong Parkway near the pine forest south of the Zoo. Riders were concerned that one day a startled horse could run on to the Parkway. Arboretum Horse Yard Opened by Minister Rattenbury

The Canberra Times today carried a report of the official opening of the horse yard at the National Arboretum. Given the foreboding skies luck held and the sun actually shone at times.
