ACT Parks & Conservation Service, Urban Reserves north, have advised that they will be undertaking minor earth works at the cavaletti on the BNT at Parkwood Paddocks to reinstate low ground level height within the structure. Work will commence on Monday 30 September 2019.
The cavaletti will be closed for two days. Access to the horse trail will be provided between 07:30 & 15:00 hrs by the adjoining gate if required.
The works will include the temporary removal of cross rails at the base of the structure, the use of a backhoe to strip grassy material back to bare earth within the structure and the approach & exit for up to three metres & copper logs will used to retain imported roads base. This material will be compacted and a rubber mat will be installed to prevent further wear over time & the cross rails refitted.
Please exercise care in the area of the carpark & yards whilst works are underway.
