Water Release from Scrivener Dam

ACTEA has just been advised by the Operations Supervisor for Scrivener Dam that their modelling suggests that they will have to open one or more sluice gates on Scrivener Dam if the rain continues today. This means that for the next week at least there will be more water than usual over the Molonglo River crossing below the dam. Please pay attention to the water height markers at the causeway before you attempt to cross.

If the rain keeps up there may also be water over the equestrian path beside Yarralumla Creek at the Cotter Road underpass into the Park.

Please pass this message to any all weather riders you know and keep safe and dry.
