The ACT Equestrian Association has been nominated for a Chief Minister’s Canberra Gold Award. This award recognises and celebrates the contribution made by individual citizens and groups who have chosen to make Canberra their home for fifty years or more.
ACTEA was nominated by an anonymous member of our community for its vocal advocacy for equestrian concerns to Government including the maintenance and repair of equestrian infrastructure in the Capital.
ACTEA will be presented with its award at a ceremony at Albert Hall on 13 March. We will have to give some thought to where we hang our certificate and how we share the pin!
