Meetings
- ACTEA & BNT meeting with to discuss cross directorate equestrian issues such as event permits, trail mapping and signage
- Attendance at Stromlo Forest Park Consultative Committee to discuss ongoing issues with the Master Plan
- meeting with City Services about continuing issues with the Parkrun event at North Weston Ponds
Representations
- attendance st Canberra Nature Park community information session to ask questions about equestrian content of the Draft Reserve Management Plan
- continuing interaction with Emergency Services about options for dealing with the Equestrian Park burn piles
- representations to City Presentation about the problems with unrestrained dogs on Narrabundah Hill
- representations to Parks South re a jammed horse gate on Narrabundah Hill (instantly fixed!)
- question to government as to where the Eastern Broadacre Strategy announced in January was at
- interaction with consultants for yet another waste disposal facility at Hume near the government horse paddocks
- response to a Liberal Party announcement of their new sport & recreation policy which does not include equestrian activities
Submission
- submission to the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development Inquiry into the regulation of recreational and commercial drones
Other
- attendance sat Ministerial press conference re new route for the Heysen Street bike path through Oakey Hill Reserve
