The new walking and cycling track from the Himalayan Pines to the Cork Oaks will be opened this Saturday. The Arboretum has lowered the cross bars on the cavaletti to a height of 30cm. They have still not moved the old BNT sign or installed their new horse crossing signs so do not follow the existing sign which is in the path of the in the path of the downhill track. Until new signage is in place please ride through the trees to cross the road further down and navigate your way uphill to the equestrian sign on the bridle trail through the Himalayan Pines (and vice versa).
There will probably be numerous cyclists at the cycle path opening on the weekend so beware of the downhill cyclists and cars in the carpark. Please let us know if there are any issues.
