After much delay the ACT government is inching toward work to remediate the banks of Yarralumla Creek near the Cotter Road which are eroding into the surrounding land, including the area around the dressage arenas in Equestrian Park. Work will begin on the south side of the underpass to Equestrian Park with marking of trees to be removed and erection of a security fence as the firsts signs of activity. ACTEA will be talking to the contractors about how the works will impact on use of the underpass into the Park and on the use of the southern arenas in the Park itself. Watch this space.
